Lynn Evans was an American singer. She was a member of The Chordettes, a female pop music quartet founded in 1946 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Other members of the group were, at various points, Carol Buschmann, Janet Ertel, Margie Needham, Jinny Osborn, Nancy Overton, Dorothy Schwartz, and Alice Mae Spielvogel.
Lynn was the daughter of Caroline “Carrie” and George Arthur Hargate. Her paternal grandparents were English, from Yorkshire. Her maternal grandparents were Welsh.
